Manarat International University (MIU), Dhaka, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Institute of Policy Studies (IPS), Islamabad, Pakistan, to strengthen academic collaboration and research cooperation between the two institutions.
Dr. Mohammad Abul Kalam Azad, Associate Professor at the Center for General Education (CGED), signed the agreement on behalf of MIU as per the direction of the Honorable Vice-Chancellor, Professor Dr. Mohammad Abdur Rob. The MoU was signed during Dr. Azad’s visit to Pakistan, where he was invited to attend an International Conference held at the University of Central Punjab (UCP), Pakistan, from October 27 to 30, 2025.
Today, Wednesday, 12 November 2025, Dr. Azad formally handed over the signed agreement papers to the Honorable Vice-Chancellor, Professor Dr. Mohammad Abdur Rob. Md. Mahboob Alom, Dean, School of Business and Administration; A. H. M. Abu Syeed, Registrar (In-Charge); and Dr. Mohiuddin Sharker, Assistant Professor, CGED, were also present on the occasion.
Under this MoU, MIU and IPS will collaborate in areas such as joint research, publication, training, seminars, and capacity-building programs, aiming to promote academic excellence and knowledge sharing between Bangladesh and Pakistan.
